Lucignano d’Asso is an ancient hamlet in the heart of Tuscany, surrounded by hills as far as the eye can see, as well as age-old olive groves and thick woods populated by deer, hare and pheasants. The shapes and colours of the landscape change with the seasons, reminiscent of the harmony depicted in the Sienese paintings of the 14th century. For six hundred years the hamlet has belonged to the eminent Piccolomini family, who were connected with significant events and protagonists of the Italian Renaissance. Recently restored as a period residence, it now offers plenty of opportunities for an exclusive holiday in absolute tranquillity.
